TRANSACTIONS 

Since its foundation, the Society has published 115 volumes of its Transactions, a refereed journal, which includes not only the best of the papers presented to its members at meetings, but others offered to the Society for publication. These articles have added notably and distinctively to the region’s body of historical knowledge. Members receive a copy of each volume as it is published, and many important libraries in Britain and abroad are subscribing members, some holding complete sets from the Society’s foundation.

Members of the Society have access to the digitised copies of volumes 1 to 106 of the Transactions through the members' section of this website. There has never been a better reason to join our group than having access to this fantastic resource!
